GC Ink™ is also highly effective against other viruses and all bacteria. Formulations can be adapted to coat virtually any surface from plastics to textiles, to filter materials.

GC’s technology is highly effective because it has a dual-action mechanism: the negatively-charged surface of graphene oxide traps the positively-charged parts of water droplets and the protein spikes on coronavirus; the silver nanoparticles release ions that oxidize the lipid membrane protecting coronavirus RNA, thereby neutralizing it.

Questions you might have...

I'm a manufacturer, how can I buy it?

We would work with you to apply our GC Ink™ to your product – so we would supply GC Ink™ to your factory to be incorporated into your manufacturing process.

Sample product applications are on face masks and other PPE, on filters for ventilation systems, wipes and other healthcare/sanitation products, and on many consumer goods, like phones/toys etc.

I'm a retail customer, how can I buy it?

Unfortunately we can’t sell GC Ink™ directly to consumers; there are too many regulations that make it hard for us to sell it directly.

So, look out for the “GC Ink™” trademark and/or the GC logo on whatever product that you’re looking for (like masks/PPE/wipes etc).

Is it effective?

Tests by Brown University have shown that it is 100% effective against coronavirus OC43 and Influenza A virus – in less than one minute. Other formulations are 99% effective in ten minutes – but which would you choose?

Is it safe?

Tests show that it is safe for humans as long as it is used as intended – in other words, use a GC Ink™ -treated wipe as a wipe – don’t eat it or smoke it...

We are preparing for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval process covering both effectiveness and safety – this is a 2-3 year process.

Internationally, there are also International Standards Office (ISO) certifications for product applications (for example, anti-viral certifications for filters) and these will be ready shortly.

How does it work?

GC Ink™ works with a dual action, “trap-and-neutralize” nano-chemistry where two nanomaterials – graphene oxide and silver nanoparticles – work together.

The negatively-charged surface of the graphene oxide traps water droplets and the protein spikes on coronavirus; the silver nanoparticles neutralize coronavirus by oxidizing the membrane that protects the RNA inside.

When will it be ready?

For product applications in filters and wipes – GC Ink™ should be ready to ship to our manufacturing partners in Q2; we are waiting for the relevant ISO 18184 certification.

For product applications on consumer goods that are made non-porous materials like plastic or glass, this will take longer for the relevant ISO 21702 certification testing to be done.

For manufacturing partners, we can supply trial production batches by April – provided that we agree NDAs and Heads of Terms with you beforehand.

We plan to be in large-scale production by the second half of this year.
